Beschreibung

The session discussed the central role of innovation in advancing the development of smart energy systems. Decarbonisation, decentralisation of supply, digitalisation, electrification of end-uses, affordability and consumer benefits are key features of modern energy systems that drive the energy transition. The panel discussion will bring up the challenges and transformation needs brought by the energy transition, and link those with the research priorities that should identify and pilot innovative solutions to the challenges.
