Beschreibung

Our team, consisting of Irene Schicker (Geosphere Austria), Marianne Bügelmayer-Blaschek and Jasmin Lampert (both AIT) was honoured as finalist with the idea to refine the spatial resolution of seasonal forecasts for applications in renewable energy and agriculture. The method we proposed builds upon merging numerical weather prediction modelling with physics-informed machine learning.
