Abstract
This study aims to develop tariff designs for heat-based energy communities (ECs). Different objectives and values are considered, while ensuring compatibility with general tariff design criteria. One dynamic and seven static tariffs are designed. The static tariffs are based on the total annual heat load, income, income-category, social responsibility, distance to the site of the heat generation, and annual peak heat demand. Moreover, there is the possibility to combine different static tariff designs using a multi-criteria approach.
