Abstract

The mission of the MAÚT working committee, established in April 2025, is to prepare the implementation of a traffic load model based on actual traffic measurements in Hungary. The participants in the research analyzed the required measurement techniques, the international literature, and the available Hungarian measurement data. Comparative calculations based on Hungarian measurement datas provide an opportunity to analyze the actual traffic load intensity and the corresponding standard values. This study presents the preliminary findings of the final report scheduled for April 2026.
