Enhancing Possibilities and Effectiveness by Using EMG Telemetry

EMG recording is a valuable tool for diagnosis i neurology but very often the preparation times are long and make the procedure time consuming. Additionally the patient´s movement may be influenced by the electrodes wires. Telemetry systems eliminate the need for a wired connection between data acquisition and patient but still need cables on the patient to connect the electrodes to the transmitter. Aim of the project is to simplify the application of EMG studies with a high number of channels and to minimize patient discomfort and influence on movement patterns.
