Abstract
Evaluation of civil protection exercises has received minor consideration in previous years and therefore showed big differences in quality between various exercises. The international consortium of
the EU-funded project INEGMA-E² aims to reach a new level of civil protection exercise evaluation
by providing a basic toolkit for all those concerned with evaluation conduct. Next to addressing adequate methodology and state-of-the-art (digital) supporting tools, the selection and training of appropriate evaluators is a special focus of the project. To facilitate future evaluations a webservice
has been created to enable setting up a pool of specialized experts for different exercise demands.
