Abstract

In this paper we present dual-band massivemultiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) channel measurementsfor a railway station scenario. The massive MIMO link shall pro-vide an ultra-reliable low-latency communication link from thecontrol center to the locomotive. In this measurement campaignthe locomotive moves from line-of-sight to non line-of-sight. Wepresent dual frequency band measurements, where the massiveMIMO array at the base station has 24 receive antenna elementsat 1890 MHz and 8 receive antenna elements at 748 MHz. Themeasurement bandwidth is 20 MHz and we use a repetition rateof 1 ms to acquire the time-variant channel frequency responsefrom the locomotive to all 32 antenna elements in parallel. In thispaper, we provide a first analysis of the root mean square delayspread, the path loss coefficients and the channel hardening inboth frequency bands.
