Abstract

The spread and emergence of new pathogens from zoonotic origin intensify the likelihood of a health crisis. COVID-19 has uncovered shortcomings of national and global mitigation strategies. In Austria, control measures were at first set up lacking validated backgrounds, exacerbating uncertainty and mistrust among the population. In response, the project "ROADS to Health" aims to develop a
technological decision-support tool that aims at facilitating holistic and enhanced pandemic management from a societal perspective. The tool offers potential measures for the selection of decision makers in a health crisis event and provides the possibility to adapt interventions to the given situation and
anticipated scenarios. The objective is to systematically evaluate valuable lessons learnt from COVID-19 and enhance the implementation of integrated control measures.
