Towards Energy System Validation

Publikation: Beitrag in Buch oder TagungsbandBuchkapitel

Abstract

The evolution of interconnected multi-energy networks has led to significant advancements, integrating various energy carriers like electricity, thermal, gas, heating, and cooling. This integration offers benefits such as increased flexibility and low-carbon technologies but also introduces challenges due to the variability of renewable energy sources and the complexity of managing distributed energy resources. The ERIGrid 2.0 approach addresses these challenges by providing a comprehensive, cyber-physical systems-oriented framework for validating smart energy systems, facilitating research and innovation through advanced validation methods and tools.
