Description

An overview about ongoing activities for the development of the solid/liquid phase change materials library (slPCMlib) is given. The purpose of the library is to provide computer code for the modeling of the so-called "effective" thermophysical properties of PCMs in Python, Matlab and Modelica/Dymola. The library contains data, correlations and models for the computation of a more realistic phase transition of PCMs, therefore accounting for the following phenomena: non- isothermal phase change, extended crystallization temperature range caused by thermal hysteresis and multi-step phase transitions.
