Experience Engineering Methods This course provides a systematic introduction to usability and experience engineering methods and processes. It starts with an introduction to overall approaches in the context of an engineering process and how they are applied to HCI problems. The course will focus on the basics of requirements engineering and analysis activities (e.g., contextual inquiry, task analysis, ethnography, observation), conceptual design as well as analytical and empirical evaluation methods and measurements (e.g., heuristic evaluation, A/B testing, usability studies, physiological measurements).
