From Edge to Cloud - to support smart energy distribution networks

Lately, many sectors of modern societies have been improved significantly due to cloud and edge computing. However, the use of cloud and edge services in the energy sector is still limited, with many energy consumers not even being able to access detailed data about their consumption. In this talk, the major challenges leading to this limitation will be discussed, along with solutions for addressing these challenges. Afterwards, the potential socio-economic impact will be elaborated while highlighting prospects for novel use cases and business opportunities.
