Description

The use of parametric analysis and planning models with a holistic assessment of their performance (climate, energy, mobility) is being researched at AIT. Spatio-temporal analyses are carried out based on statistical, spatial and usage data and the findings are used as a basis for further planning. The AIT's City Intelligence Lab (CIL) is an interactive platform for researching new forms and techniques for the urban development practice of the future. As an incubator for intelligent planning solutions, the CIL promotes the co-creation of digital urban planning workflows and processes. With interactive projection walls and augmented reality city models, the CIL is a collaborative planning environment.
