Description

The aim of the project was the tentative implementation of an interacitve user interface, integrating selected functions for Homecare & Health Promotion and Physiological Monitoring. The interface is dedicated preferably for elderly people living independently in private homes. As a main characteristics, the overall system can be operated by means of a touch screen monitor, as a part of the user terminal, which is adjustable to a client´s special needs, regarding visual / hearing / cognitive impairments. The interactive solution allows to communicate with the system or with the ´outside world´ without requiring a keyboard or a mouse. Specific software tools support the adaptation of selected features of the system to special needs of a user.
