7.5 ECTS (design) + 2.5 ECTS (Portfolio) In the design course, Plate to Planet, we explored the multifaceted journey of food and energy from its source to disposal, framing this journey within the broader context of architectural studies. The course provided a foundational understanding of circulation processes, highlighting sourcing, processing, transport, consumption, and waste management, while situating these discussions within critical frameworks of systems thinking, culture, economics, and politics. Designed to offer a diverse—though not exhaustive—set of tools, the course equipped participants to investigate the complex networks that govern food and energy systems.
