Description
In the face of escalating climate change challenges, harnessing the power of data science has become increasingly imperative. This presentation, entitled "Tackling Climate Change with Green Data Science", will explore the central role of data-driven approaches in mitigating and adapting to the impacts of climate change. By integrating sustainability principles and domain-specific knowledge into data science methodologies, we can benefit from the vast amounts of data to generate actionable insights. This presentation will give an overview of the research in this area at AIT's Data Science & AI group. In doing so, we will explore innovative applications of data science in various areas, including disaster risk assessment, precision agriculture and forest management.Period | 17 May 2024 |
