Description
Emerging technologies (artificial intelligence and virtual reality, neurotechnology, climate engineering) that are becoming increasingly familiar can affect our psychological and social lives. With the actual application of technology still uncertain in the future, it is an urgent issue to consider what social impacts and ethical issues may emerge and to reflect them in research and development ethics and science and technology policy. However, there have been few opportunities for citizens, who will be most affected by technology, to participate in this process. The aim of the TechEthos project is to think about technology ethics across disciplinary and knowledge boundaries and to reflect this in practice. This presentation will show how the project has addressed this challenge collaboratively and creatively, using concrete examples.Period | 21 Nov 2023 |
