  • Panos Kotsampopoulos (Speaker)
  • Strasser, T. (Speaker)
  • Alkistis Kontou (Speaker)
  • Paspatis Alexandros (Speaker)

Activity: Talk or presentation / LecturePresentation at a scientific conference / workshop

    Description

This tutorial will initially introduce the participants to the need for upskilling professionals and researchers, driven by the ongoing energy transition. The emerging skill needs of the industry and resulting skill gaps will especially be highlighted based on the Blueprint Strategy for the Digitalisation of the Energy value chain, de-veloped as part of the Erasmus+ EDDIE project, as well as the results of the IEEE PES Task Force on Innovative Teaching Methods for Modern Power and Energy Systems. To address those skills gaps, tools and procedures developed throughout the H2020 ERIGrid 2.0 project will be particularly highlighted, providing open-access advanced educational tools for both professionals and researchers.
