Focus on spatially-aware Deep Learning to exploit geometric priors to support learning objectives. Special interest in tackling problems in category-agnostic object detection and 3d object pose estimation, where the underlying diversity renders the learning task or its representation difficult. Author/co-author of more than 100 peer-reviewed scientific papers and inventor/co-inventor of 13 patents.
