    Research interests

    Johanna Spreitzhofer has been employed at the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology Center for Energy since 2015 and is currently working as a Research Engineer and project manager in the area of Integrated Energy Systems. She completed her master’s degree in energy and automation technology at the Vienna University of Technology with honours. Her research activities include the techno-economic portfolio optimization of demand side management for various electricity market segments and the assessment of flexibility potentials. A particular focus is on pooling the flexibility of prosumers for short-term electricity markets, especially balancing energy. She successfully manages the project Flex+ as project coordinator with 15 project partners and a total project volume of about 4 Mio. €.
