Krisztina Rozgonyi

DDr. Krisztina Rozgonyi is a Senior Scientist at the Center for Innovation Systems & Policy at the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology in Vienna. She is an internationally recognised legal and policy expert in digitalisation, platform governance and artificial intelligence, focusing on the societal impact of technological change and regulatory transformation.

She has advised international organisations such as the United Nations, OSCE, Council of Europe and the European Commission, as well as national governments, on media freedom, platform regulation and AI governance. She has authored over 100 academic and policy publications at the intersection of media, law and technology.

She is also a Fellow at the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW) and the University of Vienna. In 2026, she was appointed by the European Commission to the AI Act Advisory Forum, where she contributes independent expertise to the implementation and governance of the EU AI Act.
