Research interests

Vasileios Karagiannis is a Scientist at the Center for Digital Safety & Security of the Austrian Institute of Technology. Vasileios has a PhD in Computer Science from the Vienna University of Technology in Austria and an MSc in Hardware and Software Integrated Systems from the University of Patras in Greece. With a keen interest in the digital transformation of services and societies, Vasileios focuses on Edge Computing, Data Spaces, and the Internet of Things, with the outcomes of this work frequently contributing to scientific articles and patents.
