This chapter addresses the evolving educational needs in the energy sector, emphasizing interdisciplinary training and the integration of modern teaching methods and tools. It highlights the importance of open-source e-learning resources, virtual and remote laboratories, and interactive educational tools in fostering practical skills and theoretical knowledge. Additionally, it underscores the contributions of the ERIGrid 2.0 project in developing comprehensive training programs and resources to equip the next generation of energy professionals with the necessary expertise to meet industry demands.
