Abstract

Die demographische Entwicklung hin zu einer alternden Bevölkerung, der vorherrschende Mangel an Fachkräften im Pflegesektor und die Tendenz zu einer größer werdenden Anteil an älteren Pflegepersonen sehen die Notwendigkeit hervor, zur Sicherung der pflegerischen Versorgung im stationären Bereich Maßnahmen zu ergreifen. Ein Weg zur Gegensteuerung kann darin bestehen, älteres Pflegepersonal durch den Einsatz von ICT (Information Communication Technology) basierten Anwendungen im Arbeitsprozess zu unterstützen. The demographic development towards an aging population, the prevailing shortage of skilled workers in the care sector, and the trend towards an increasing number of older nurses highlight the need to take action to secure the nursing care at hopitals. One way to counteract this may be by supporting older nurses using ICT (Information Communication Technology) based applications in the work process.
