Abstract
This work shows how the problem of modelling fluids motion can be addressed in Modelica. This innovative approach makes possible to face such a problem in a multi-physic modelling language as Modelica is. In this way it is possible to simulate together the fluid and the system that interact with it, without any additional effort and taking advantage of the Modelica libraries representing buildings, power plants, water treatment systems, HVAC and so forth.
