Abstract

A novel software system GASepo for doping control of recombinant erythropoietin (rEPO) is described. It is based on quantitative analysis of electrophoretic EPO images obtained by isoelectric focusing. The novel algorithms incorporated into the GASepo are briefly outlined. The basic architecture of the system is described and its advantages are advocated.
