Abstract
Depending on the tribosystem high temperature starts, where standard lubrication or standard materials fail, or show increased wear. Main focuses are "Increasing the maximum application temperature of standard lubrication", "Alternative lubrication up to 1,000 °C", "Wear mechanisms at different temperatures and changes of wear mechanism with increasing temperature (fatigue, fracture, interface bonding, surface tribology, etc)". To get an overview over the State of the Art in the research topics in this field and the involved science community a bibliometric assessment is carried out.
