    Abstract

This paper presents a method, developed for enabling a quantitative survey of the area effectiveness of future medium and long-term grid related measures (network restructuring, operational strategies) in the entire medium- and low-voltage infrastructure of a distribution system operator. This is done for various development scenarios of consumption and feed-in behaviour of network customers (photovoltaic, electromobility, heat pumps and storage) along scientifically developed future scenarios and various established and new network expansion measures (e.g. grid reinforcement, new secondary substations, series voltage regulators, on-load tap changer transformers) and operational strategies (e.g. active and reactive power control).
