Abstract
Following the recent radical leap in miniaturization of optical components, design of actively controlled plasmonic circuits become of key importance. We propose utilizing elements composed of responsive hydrogel which can provide means to strongly and rapidly change index of refraction (dn/dT =2×10-2 RIU/K). Our aim is to develop optical elements for steering surface plasmons beams through lithographically defined responsive hydrogel lens
