Abstract

This paper describes the development of a TT-Vision Node platform. The basic concept is to establish a node for a time-triggered bus system which can be used as a development platform for vision based applications in embedded systems. The goal is to do image processing directly on this node and to build a bridge between optical sensors and time-triggered bus architectures. The optical input source is a set of digital FireWire cameras and the system is designed as a stacked architecture of three components interconnected with the so called micor-line bus.
